The casual sibling of Tom Kitchin's Michelin-starred The Kitchin in Leith. It looks like a pub, but meat and fish come in whole and are butchered in the kitchen. The menu turns with the seasons and sticks to Scottish pub food done carefully: haggis with neeps and tatties, steak pie and the like. It sits in residential Stockbridge, away from the Old Town crowds, so most tables are local families. There's a separate menu for under-12s.
