Hours: Garden daily 10:00-17:00 (Feb-Oct), to 16:00 in Nov and Jan, 15:30 in Dec. Palm Houses 10:15-16:15 on timed slots
Tickets: Garden free. Palm Houses are a separate charge (around £5 adult, under 16 free)
Address: 20A Inverleith Row; there are also gates on the west and south sides

Entry to the grounds is free. Climb the grassy rise, turn round, and the Old Town roofline and castle sit in one frame. Paths wind past the Chinese hillside, the rock garden and the ponds. The big glasshouses are shut for restoration, but the restored Palm Houses reopened on 2 October 2026 on timed tickets.
