The museum sits where the Nakdong River empties into the sea, on the edge of the Eulsukdo wetland. Walk out of the galleries and the reed beds and river mouth are right there. At dusk the sky turns colour over the water. It is a long way from downtown, which is why weekdays feel so quiet. The Busan Biennale runs here in autumn 2026.
