Refugees from the Korean War stacked their homes up this slope, and the layout survives: one house's roof is the next one's yard. Murals and installations started arriving around 2009, and now the pastel rooftops seem to tumble down the hill toward the harbour. Pick up a map at the visitor centre and work your way down the lanes past tiny galleries, a preserved old house and rooftop lookouts. The longest queue is always for the Little Prince and his fox, sitting on a ledge staring out over the village.
