The official site calls it Berlin's oldest restaurant and dates it to 1621. It's a low old house on a narrow lane beside a surviving chunk of the medieval wall, wood-panelled inside and split into small rooms. Chef André Sperling cooks regional Berlin food with local suppliers like Brandenburg herb farms and Müritz lake fishermen. From 11 November it serves roast St Martin's goose, also to take away (official). The menu changes with the seasons and no fixed price list is published.
