Kuay jap are wide rice sheets that curl into rolls as they cook, served in a clear pork broth loaded with white pepper, topped with offal and crisp pork belly. Nai Ek is the old noodle shop at the mouth of Yaowarat Soi 9. While you queue, staff hand you a numbered English menu and take your order. Tables turn fast, so even a long line moves. No air-con, though, so expect to sweat.
