A Hui soup-dumpling house founded in 1987, a seven- or eight-minute walk in from the Drum Tower end of the Muslim Quarter. Being halal, it fills its thin wrappers with beef or lamb rather than pork, plus a slosh of hot broth. The big, old-style dining room is a good place to sit down between street stalls. Many diners add the sesame-sauce cold noodles and eight-treasure porridge.
