This is the tomb of Emperor Jing of Han (r. 157–141 BC) and his empress. In the underground hall you walk on glass over the excavated pits, where rows of pigs, dogs, sheep and human figures lie buried. The people are only about 60 cm tall; they once had wooden arms and silk clothes, which have rotted away, leaving armless bodies. It's smaller and quieter than the Terracotta Army, and sitting right on the airport road it often turns up on the last day of package tours.
