Spices, wine and fine groceries have been sold on this spot since 1618 (official). The ground floor splits into a deli counter, a bar and a brasserie, and plenty of people stand with a glass of wine and pick at little open sandwiches. The signature plate is hand-cut bone-in ham (Beinschinken) with fresh horseradish and bread, €19.50 on the October 2026 menu. Upstairs, the 'Beletage' restaurant does full plates such as Tafelspitz (€29.50) and veal schnitzel (€29.50).
