A Gasthaus on the corner of little Franziskanerplatz, the square with one fountain. Inside: wood-panelled walls and a dozen-odd tables; on fine days the outdoor seats facing the square go first. The menu is Viennese home cooking: veal Wiener schnitzel €29, Tafelspitz €26, goulash €18 (October 2026 menu). Weekday lunch brings daily plates at €12–14 until 4 pm.
