The Glass Museum (Museo del Vetro); the whole island is glass furnaces and shops

Venice moved its glassmakers here in the 13th century to keep fires away from the city, and the furnaces never left: kilns and glass shops still line the canals. At a furnace demo a master blows a glowing lump on the end of a pipe and has a horse or a vase in a few minutes. The Glass Museum runs from Roman glass to over-the-top chandeliers. It's closer than Burano, so it's an easy stop on the way.
