The name means high water, and the shop is built around it: books are piled in bathtubs, canoes and a full-size gondola so they stay dry when the floods come in, and a few cats sleep on top. Out the back, water-ruined books are stacked into a staircase you can climb for a look over the wall at the canal. A door at the side opens straight onto the water, and there's usually a queue to photograph it. Entry is free; buying a postcard is the decent thing to do.
