A takeaway counter that boils fresh pasta to order, tosses it with sauce and hands it over in a paper box. Pick your shape and sauce at the counter and it's ready in minutes. There's always a queue, but it moves, and €10–13 for a meal in pricey Venice has made it a backpacker favourite. They do tiramisu too.
