A small three-star in the Castello lanes behind St Mark's Square. The square is about five minutes away, so you can see the basilica lit up at night and be in bed shortly after. While five-stars on the same block cost well over €650 a night, rooms here come in around €70. One reviewer summed it up as kind staff and a location that does all the work. Rooms are small and plainly done, so set expectations accordingly.
