A waterfront palace a few steps past the Bridge of Sighs from St Mark's Square. The main building is the pink Gothic Palazzo Dandolo, and the lobby staircase and gilded ceilings look like a film set; it was the hotel in The Tourist. Four Seasons now runs it, under the name 'Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel'. From the rooftop restaurant, Terrazza Danieli, you look straight across the lagoon to San Giorgio Maggiore.
