A pink-tinged Gothic facade faces the northern canal. Tintoretto lived in this parish, hung enormous paintings in the church near his house, and was buried in the chapel on the right. His Last Judgment inside runs close to 14 metres high and stops you in the doorway. The lanes leading here sit off the tourist loop, so the walk is half the pleasure.
