Come out of the Electric Town exit and anime characters cover whole building walls while flyer-girls in maid outfits work every corner. Radio Kaikan by the station is floor after floor of figure and trading-card shops, and one floor can swallow an hour. Add the gachapon zone on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Camera, the used-game shops and the parts stalls in the back lanes, and you'll find the same item priced ¥1,000 apart from shop to shop. On Sunday afternoons Chuo-dori becomes a car-free street and you can walk down the middle of the road.
