A soba house with Edo-period roots. A fire in 2013 destroyed the building, and it reopened on the same spot in October 2014 in wood. There are 97 seats over two floors, and the staff greet each arrival with a long sung welcome. The basic order is cold seiro soba with a strong dipping sauce you barely dunk the noodles in. Lunch queues are long, so many people come mid-afternoon.
