Often called Asia's largest zoo, it is spread over hills so one lap eats most of a day. The giant panda house is the first stop for most visitors and the line is shortest in the morning. Koalas, penguins and a big African savannah zone are worth the walk, and the zoo is split into zones you can dip into at your own pace. The Maokong gondola's zoo station sits right beside the main gate, so an afternoon ride up to the tea houses makes an easy second half of the day.
