It went dark with the hotel in 2023 and quietly came back in summer 2025. One floor up from the 32nd-floor indoor bar is the open-air terrace on 33, where the much-photographed hot tub has been removed, leaving a bare deck. The view hasn't changed: the Monument to the People's Heroes sits right below, the Bund buildings curve away along the river, and the Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower fill the left side of the frame. The interior wasn't refreshed, and it shows a bit of wear.
