This is the 1,000th branch of Manner, the Shanghai-born coffee chain, set in the riverside park in front of the North Bund cruise terminal. Through the glass, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower and the rest of Lujiazui line up straight across the Huangpu. Most drinks cost ¥15–20, which is very little for a view like this. Grab a chair on the deck outside, or take your cup straight onto the riverside path.
