¥2 per crossing, paid at the turnstile with a transport card or QR code; no booking.

West bank: Jinling Road East pier at the south end of the Bund (Zhongshan East 2nd Road). East bank: Dongchang Road pier (No. 1 Dongchang Road)

Skip the tour boats and ride with the commuters. Tap through the turnstile, clank down the gangway, and you're shoulder to shoulder with office workers and their e-scooters. For ten minutes mid-river the Bund's stone facades and Lujiazui's towers slide past each other on either side. Time it for dusk and you may catch the Oriental Pearl Tower flicking on from the water.
