Blue Bottle opened this as its first mainland China store in February 2022. It reuses an old building on the south bank of Suzhou Creek, on the site of the former Yutong Flour Mill dormitories. A 2026 article singled out this creekside branch for its old-building setting, hand-drip coffee and Shanghai-only desserts. It's away from the Bund and Nanjing Road, so you have to mean to come here, but the tourist crowds are thinner for it.
