Take one step into the lane beside City Hall and a red-brick church shows up out of nowhere. Built in 1926 in the Romanesque style, its round arches and tall tower look lifted from a small European town. Inside it is plain and quiet, a good bench stop when your legs give out on the Jeongdong-gil walk.
