This alley in Cheongjin-dong, Jongno, has had a hangover-soup house lit for nearly 90 years. Beef-bone broth comes loaded with tripe and ox blood, clear and savory rather than spicy. It opens at 6am, so it catches people coming off a long night and people fuelling up before an early start. Some tables order mixed jeon and start drinking by day. The neighboring building garage gives one free hour.
