Opened in 1934 as Sapporo's first Western-style hotel, it now has 494 rooms across the main, east and annex buildings. It sits halfway between Sapporo Station and Odori, so both are a walk. Take the east-wing lifts down to the Chi-Ka-Ho underground walkway and you can reach Susukino in midwinter without surfacing.
