Domplatz in front of the cathedral and Residenzplatz

From mid-November the squares between the cathedral and the Residenz fill with wooden huts. Once the sun drops around 4:30 the cathedral front lights up and steam rises from every mug of Glühwein. Lots of the stock is handmade: ornaments, beeswax candles, felt slippers. On some evenings brass players perform Turmblasen from up high. Many people combine it with the Advent market in the fortress courtyards.
