The schiacciata shop Florence queues around the block for opened behind the Pantheon in November 2021. Schiacciata is a flat, oil-rich Tuscan bread, split and stuffed with creams, cured meats and vegetables into a sandwich the size of your face. The best seller is La Paradiso: mortadella with pistachio cream. Between the Pantheon and Trevi, it's an easy lunch to carry around.
