From the moment you grab the rail, the engine roar bounces off the canyon walls. The boat runs the narrow Shotover canyon, swinging to within arm's length of the rock before peeling away, and the screaming starts on its own. When the driver twirls a finger in the air, hold on: that's the signal for a 360° spin. You will get sprayed, so don't bother with your hair.
