A small timber room, one cedar tub, and a whole wall that opens up. Through it you look straight onto the Shotover canyon and snowy peaks, and lying in hot water listening to jet boats roar past below undoes a day of hiking. Each pool is yours alone for an hour, so it's swimsuits on and chat away. Night sessions come with stars; snowy winter evenings come with snowflakes on your face.
