A long-running Shandong (Lu cuisine) restaurant in the middle of Zhongshan Road, right beside the Pichaiyuan entrance. Traditionally the ground floor does dumplings and quick bites, upstairs the full dishes. Order the whole fried crispy chicken and 'nine-turn' braised intestines in a glossy soy glaze. You come for the old-school dining-hall feel, not the décor.
