A beer hall-restaurant just across the street from Café Santiago, with tables spread over a big upper floor. The francesinha sauce leans tomato, and many find it gentler than Santiago's. A whole onion, scored and deep-fried with black-garlic mayo, lands on nearly every table. They pour their own beers, IPA included, which suits the sandwich. Several diners walked straight in by arriving right at opening.
