In a small corner shop on the square, someone is always carving a huge roast pork leg. The thing to get is pernil, the leg meat, in a roll with soft, runny sheep's cheese. They've been at it since the 1970s and now run five places in Porto, but this Tradicional branch keeps the old feel best. Inside is tight and warm, so most people sit on the terrace facing the square. Rolls are palm-sized: one each and a beer is right.
