West shore of Sesoko Island, Motobu, across the Sesoko Bridge

On the west side of a little island joined by one bridge, about 800 metres of white sand curves along the shore. The water is clear enough to see your toes at waist depth, and a few strokes out fish weave through the coral. On the horizon sit croissant-shaped Minna Island and Ie Island, and at sunset the sky goes red behind them. Of all the northern beaches, it's the one people name first.
