It shares a fence with Ocean Expo Park, so Churaumi Aquarium is 750 m away on foot. It opened in 2014 and was renovated in 2024. Standard rooms are a roomy 50 m², and west-facing rooms watch the sun set beyond Ie Island. It's made for walking into the aquarium at opening before the crowds, then spending the afternoon at Emerald Beach or under the fukugi trees in Bise village. The catch: it's 60 km from Naha Airport as the crow flies, close to two hours by car.
