On the edge of the Cours Saleya flower market since 1972, this Niçois restaurant carries the city's 'Cuisine Nissarde' label, so the basics are solid: salade niçoise, petits farcis, daube with ravioli, pissaladière. Sit on the terrace beside the market awnings and you get flower-sellers in the morning and square lights at night. It serves all day, every day, so a proper meal at 3 or 4pm is no problem. There's wood-fired pizza too, handy with kids.
