A long run of stalls under striped awnings along the south edge of the old town. Tuesday to Sunday mornings it's flowers, fruit and veg, lavender sachets, olives and spices; on Mondays the flowers make way for antiques, old plates and postcards. Both sides are lined with restaurant terraces in yellow and orange buildings, so you can shop and sit down to breakfast in the same minute. The move here is a paper cone of socca, a thin chickpea pancake from a wood oven, eaten hot from a market stall. By lunchtime the stalls fold up and restaurant tables take their place.
