A long park strung along the East River, where the lawns frame the Manhattan towers and the Brooklyn Bridge in one view. Jane's Carousel spins inside its glass pavilion near the DUMBO end, and each pier has its own mood, from pebble beach to playground. At dusk the lawns fill with people waiting for the city lights to come on. It costs nothing to enter.
