An oval glass roof floats 14 metres above the street with a thin sheet of water on top, and you can walk the full loop around it; they call it the Water Spaceship. After dark the roof lights up and the neighbouring Mirai Tower reflects in the water. It is Sakae's free night view, so evenings bring a line of people with phones out. The sunken plaza, bus terminal and underground shops below make it an easy starting point for the area.
