A small inhabited island within an hour south of Malé. The loop around it takes about 30 minutes and ends at a yard where carpenters build traditional dhoni boats. Sandy lanes, tiny shops and fishing boats at the jetty fill the day. The public ferry timetable does not suit a same-day return, so a speedboat is the practical way.
