Around sunset you head out by dhoni or speedboat into the channels between atolls to look for dolphins. The ones you'll most likely see are spinners, which leap and twist in the air, and they get lively in the late afternoon as they come back from open water toward the reefs. With luck, dozens of them surf the bow wave right in front of the boat. After that, the rest of the trip is a slow ride home under a reddening sky.
