Guinness lists it as the oldest restaurant in the world: opened in 1725, 300 years old in 2025. A small room by the entrance holds the old wood-fired oven, and you can watch suckling pigs browning in clay dishes as you walk past. The skin cracks like a biscuit, the meat parts under a spoon. Hemingway put it in the last pages of The Sun Also Rises, so half the room is tourists, but the menu still revolves around two roasts.
