Built on the water for Expo '98. A two-storey central tank holds sharks, rays and a sunfish, and the route circles it so each window gives a new angle. The four corners recreate the North Atlantic, the Antarctic, the temperate Pacific and the tropical Indian Ocean, with penguins on the rocks and sea otters floating on their backs. The 'Forests Underwater' exhibition in the other wing lights aquascaped tanks in the dark with music, and people sit in front of it for ages.
