An old coffee shop that starts the day with toast spread with kaya and butter. Mornings bring noodles; from 1:30 p.m. they start grilling chicken and beef satay out front, served with peanut sauce. Add a strong teh tarik and the whole meal costs about what a latte would at home. Squeezing in among the neighbourhood regulars is half the fun.
