Tuaran mee is the egg noodle from Tuaran town, north of Kota Kinabalu. Lots of egg in the dough makes it yellow and springy, and it's either wok-fried hard or tossed in seasoning like Sarawak's kolo mee. Instead of driving half an hour to the source, you can have a plate at this food court on Gaya Street. Chiefeater picked the tossed (kon lo) version and praised the bouncy noodles.
