A big hotel on the waterfront side of downtown. Suria Sabah mall, Wisma Merdeka and the Sunday Gaya Street market are all a 5–10 minute walk, so dinner, a massage and back is easy. Jesselton Point, where the island boats leave, is close too, and guests praise the location more than anything. It first opened in 1979, but service and cleanliness still score well.
