One of Taiwan's best-known temples to Nezha, it lights up in red lanterns after dark. From the second-floor bell or drum tower the lanterns spread out like a sea. The temple is wedged against a market street, so by day incense smoke mixes with shopping-bag noise. Worship hours run roughly from 5am to 10pm.
