First gondola valley station, about 10 minutes' walk up the main street from Grindelwald station

Step off the gondola and the Cliff Walk starts right there, a steel path bolted to the rock face. At the end a platform hangs over a big drop, with the Wetterhorn and Eiger right in your face. An hour's walk away is Bachalpsee, the lake that mirrors the peaks, and on the way down you can swap between the First Flyer zipline, the Glider, mountain carts and Trottibike scooters all the way to Grindelwald village. The day disappears fast.
