The mountain inn beside the First gondola top station. From the terrace the Eiger north face and Wetterhorn stand straight ahead like walls. There's a self-service hall (up to 300 seats) and a served restaurant with 120 terrace seats, handy between the Cliff Walk and the Bachalpsee hike. The menu has burgers, fries and steak alongside Swiss hut fare. The view comes first, but a hot meal at this height is its own treat.
