Between the housing towers a dark brown timber roof sits low to the ground. It is a modern rebuild in Tang dynasty style, and standing by the lotus ponds and the carved Buddha figures the city noise drops sharply. Nan Lian Garden is right next door and the two are usually done together. Walk quietly inside; it is an active nunnery.
